Register new domain name your simple guide of what is required.

You need three things in order to register your domain name:

1. The name you are going to register.

2. Your personal Information, like address.

3. Valid credit card or paypal account.

Let me also point out here that if you plan to use a different host, then you will also need to have your web host information at hand, but that is a topic for another day.

Desired Name.

By the time you log into a domain name registrar,

• You need to have the name in mind that you want to register.

You web host

If you already have a host company, then you can either call them or log into your control panel and obtain:

1. Primary and secondary name servers.

2. DNS IP address.

If you are unable to obtain these information, you might want to scrolling through FAQs, domain name or DNS category menus or even better call or email them for assistance.

Save these two pieces of information because you are going to need them as you go through the domain name registration process.

If you don't have a web host yet, don't panic, most domain name registrar would allow you to park your domain name with them at a temporary website specially set up for you. Read more about domain name parking here

Valid credit card.

If you want to register new domain name, a credit card is a must have. Unfortunately this is not an option. Most if not all domain name registrars require that you have a valid credit card that would enable you to pay for your domain name.

Don't have a credit card? Don't worry some will allow you to use paypal or your check.
