But there is a problem...

You just sit there looking at your computer monitor wondering...

What seemed such an easy task has suddenly become a daunting job to do!

  • All the short names like google or yahoo seems to have all been taken!
  • Incorporating your main keyword is next to impossible unless of course, you include two or three other words alongside

Being innovative presents another dilemma;

You soon realize that all the innovative names that you think of:

  • Do not include your site main key concept.

  • You are not quite so sure what your targeted market will think of the name.

Come on let us be realistic.

If you have been reading and following all the advice presented by authoritative articles about domains.

Then by now you must be convinced that most of the good names were all snatched long time ago, before you even entered the scene.

But will that stop us from getting the ideal domain name?

    Simply said.   No!

Here are two key points you should always remember:

    1. Don't let your mind and thinking be bound by or be fixed within that knowledge spectrum of the so called domain experts.

    2. Always remember that each and every one of us is inherently creative and that power is evidenced when we become true to our selves.

So what am I trying to say here?

For now get all the information and knowledge you need to know before you choose your domain name.

Read all the articles, all the information, advice and tips that you can lay your hands on related to domain name. Read it all. The more the better!

Then be creative. It's that simple.

wait a minute. You think you can't be creative?

Here is a simple list of:

how to be creative and innovative when choosing your ideal name.

    1. The first step towards being creative is to allow yourself to be creative

    2. Do not censor your self; just let your imagination run wild

    3. Come up with a list of names, make it as long as possible and restrain your self from judging whichever name you come up with.

Now remember that most creative and innovative ideas are random so always carry a note pad or an electronic device so that you can always be ready to jot those ideas as they come by.

    4. Ask questions, all kind of questions either foolish or intelligent. You know it's amazing simple how some of us are afraid to ask questions thinking that they might look foolish. Ask your friends, family members and if you are bold enough-strangers to suggest a name for you.

    5. Be a voracious reader. In order to be creative, you must first of all gather all that you need to know regarding that subject. For instance read all articles written about domain names, check the list of the top 500 web sites on Alexa and try to see what they have in common.

    6. Engange your self in an imaginary dialogue. I know this is going to sound crazy but believe me it's a method that very successful people have used to succeed. Talk to yourself! visualize that which you want and then have an imaginary conversation about it with your self.

    7. Speak out the domain names you come up with. Find a nice place and start speaking them all loud. Try to see which amongst them sounds better,is easy to pronounce and just catches your attention.

Once you have a list of all the possible names,

move on to the next stage of problem solving.

That is where you consider and relate all the list of names and see which one may work out for you and which one will not.
