We are still learning about:
Important steps that need to be taken before we create a web site.

So far we have seen the:

1. Need to set goals,
   
2. Choose a niche,
   
3. Identify a profitable niche.

Now,
we are going to see the importance of deciding before hand the type of web site and to that effect what type of web business that your theme based site is going to be based and build upon.

In the past,
when the internet and all it's players were new and were tying to figure out how exactly the net was transforming the world, things were much easier.

All that a web master had to do was to come up with a site, stuff some key words to it and tweak here and there and hopefully the money would start flowing in.



Now the net has matured, things have become more refined, simple but complicated. Creating a thriving web business takes more than just having an internet access, a computer and the right keywords; there is more to the surface than we can willingly admit.

The internet is becoming more and more an information passing medium. This simply means that in order to create a web site that is going to be successful, there is a need to focuse. You can not focuse unless you decide on what type of web site you are going to create.

Type of your web site.

The type of your web site is determined by the type of industry but more important by that particular niche that it will be build, based on. There are different types of web sites, for Instance:

• Affiliate Businesses.
• Infopreneur.
• Sales and Rental Agents.
• Service Businesses.
• Web Professionals.

1. Understand your visitors. Internet users prefer a site that is build based on a given theme that is an authority in that subject, a site that they can get almost all the information that they need regarding that particular subject.

2. Understand your monetization strategy. There are different and unique ways that a given type of web site is able to make money as compared to the other types.

   In order to create a web site that is going to generate revenue that is acceptable to you its important that you know before hand as to the type of web site you are about to build.
