Let me repeat that again: People don't surf the net to be sold stuff! People surf the net for:

- Relevant to their purpose, need or problem.

The search engines already know this and they want to deliver what their primary and secondary customers want; Great information, relevant and specific to a given topic.
Every passing day, the search engines are getting smarter and more sophisticated, improving their techniques on how to identify good pages with juicy information.
But most of the SEOers and some Webmasters still don’t understand this simple fact. But the net is fast zooming past them.
They still think the search engines owe them a living.
The SEOers are still dancing and changing their steps and style every time the search engines changes the rhythm, now and then. Always trailing behind, trying to catch up...and the music will keep changing and the dance will keep on changing and the game goes on...
How I wish they knew the future. The Future!

That is the most important thing that you need to understand. The rest, the internet hype and madness is all noise. Shut your ears to that noise and let your eyes and mind be set on achieving the following:

Create more relevant unique information that they are looking for. Search engines are looking for quality information, give them what they want.
- Understand why people surf the net:
Individual surf the net in need of relevant information to solve their specific need. Provide what they need and they will love you for that. They will come back for more.
